A Day of Presentations
The Last Hurrah!
Day 18 - 6/28
Our last full day in Japan began with each of the ten prefecture groups giving a 15 minute presentation on their experience.  We found out that, while we were sent to very diverse locations and areas of Japan, from urban to rural and mountains to sea, there was a common thread: the students and the people of Japan and how wonderful they were to us.  At some point I may put video links, but I don't have photos.  I do have one of Kyoko introducing a group and a couple of our team members dressed for the presentation, but that's it.  They look great, don't they?
A Night of Celebration
After all of the fantastic presentations, there was only one thing left to do: celebrate our experiences before we all head back to the U.S. to resume our every day lives  They wined us and dined us; the food was extraordinary and plentiful.  We took photos, sang songs and said our first of a litany of good-byes that were more promises to stay in touch than they were final statements of our experience together.
Thanks to Danon for all of the great photos!
